Today we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, otherwise known as Easter.
It can and will be a great day simply because we know in whom we trust and what our lives are anchored in. Hebrews 6:19 let’s us see that we have a hope for our soul that is sure and anchored in Him. But as I read this I am reminded
that as large as a ship is or the tonnage that makes it up there are elements that can move it quite easily. The wind, the tides, or the waves can move that ship relatively easy unless it is anchored to something unmovable. Today I would encourage everyone to not allow the elements around you to move you so quickly away from what has been a bedrock in your life.
Jesus, the church, and your fellowship with the body are the anchors that keep us secure when the winds are contrary, and the waves are unrelenting. Tides come in and go out but Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. We all have storms that have come into our lives but we can and should be anchored in Him. Scripture informs us that God is not a man that He can lie and He has Risen so that we might have life. Anchor yourself in the Truth and have a beautiful Resurrection Day or maybe I should say Happy Easter!!!!
